Well, I'm only half way through this one but it is so enlightening and brings to life the most famous of the Renaissance artists. The book unravels the life of da Vinci and in so doing creates a human being. It's easy to forget that he was human; his art and prophetic drawings and observations overshadow a more mundane life. Highly recommended. As the cover says, 'If you read one book with da Vinci in its title this year, make it this one.'
